Publisher typical Physical memory usage?

I have a small cluster with (1) subscriber. About 800 phones registered. I noticed that my Publisher runs with about 400-600 megs of physical memory remaining. Is this normal? I rebooted it the other night to free up the physical, but it went right back to about this.

Re: Publisher typical Physical memory usage?

this does not sound like it is too out of norm if at all.

how much memory total does your system have?

SQL is going to be the biggest culprit of memory use (with ccm probably coming in second biggest memory user or RISDC)

verify the exact memory use by the processes via task manager within the windows server.

(out of 3.9 gb of memory in my biggest CCM cluster the pub has 2.3 gb available; of course this pub only does CDR, RIS, DLM, administration with no call processing)

(on another, smaller cluster, the pub has 2 gb of memory and only 250 mb available; this pub does do call processing, ip streaming media as well as a few other services my first pub does not provide)

Re: Publisher typical Physical memory usage?

yeah, this one only has 2gb and it was running down to 250 before reboot.

Thanks much!
