I'm wondering if anybody has got the Push2Phone ASP working that comes with the SDK? I get the list of Mac Addresses but when I try and send the message nothing happens. The user I have setup is working fine and I can get a screenshot of the phone.
I have the same problem. I get to the script and see the list of MAC addresses. Which oddly, lists all mac addresses and not just the ones I assigned to the sdkapps account.
Is there anything other then creating a user in CallManager that one has to do? Anything on the phone? Should this "sdkapps" user account be like any normal user account and then just assign phones to it?
I don't think there is anything else you need to assign because I can do a manual push of a XML page. I think there is something we need to change in the includes that are at the top.
I was just curious if there was anything in call manager admin we had to do, like add some thing to Enterprise Parameters or have the phone subscribe to a service or something. Who knows.. I just know the instructions on the ASP file are so simple, but it is not working so I am lost.
The list you see, are all devices that are start with SEP (see the notes in the script!!!) so also the devices that are NOT capable for PUSH.
But in order to push something to the phone, you need authority to the devices, that is why you need to assign the devices to the sdkapps account...
btw, I am using the jsp and that works fine!
We are trying to use the ASP script with no success as mentioned. Created a user in call manager called "sdkapps", by going to "User - Global Directory - Create New User" I then added the phones I wanted this user to send to under "Controlled Devices" of that user.
I then edited the ASP file with the IP address of the call manager server, the admin username and pass. As well as the sdkapps user and pass.
I go to the ASP file and I see the list of phones, I select one that the user should be able to send to and enter the message to send. I then submit it but nothing ever happens. It just comes back to the screen to enter a message.
I have the same problem, when I send a message it doesn´t appear on the phones but a notification sound plays on the phones. Just audio but no text. I'm using CCM 3.3.2.
In your push2phone.asp file find the line:
alertCIP += xmlDoc.xml;
Now check your directory where your push2phone.asp file is located....i bet you don't have that file in there. Just rename the alertdetail.xml to xmlDoc.xml and you should be all set.
