PVDM memory

What is the command to view how many PVDM memory is mounted in the router?

A PVDM is a Packet Voice DSP Module and has no user-accessible memory. What memory is there is run by the software that runs the DSPs(DSPWare).

You can see the DSPs with 'show voice dsp' but the actual amount of DSP memory should not matter. Remember, they look like memory SIMMs, but those are DSPs on there, not RAM chips.

At the enable mode prompt on your router, enter the following command:

test dsp (slot that the NM is located in)

You will now be prompted with a menu of options to test. By selecting 1, this will give you the number of PVDM's installed and test them.
