Re: q931 message

You see this on q931 debug on router or on the phone LCD screen? Does the call connect successfully?

Re: q931 message

I see it on both

Router:

Jun 16 18:16:17.019: ISDN Se0/0/0:15 Q931: RX <- CONNECT pd = 8 callref = 0x8

Display i = '*AA*NOT SUITABLE FOR DATA#

Phone = '*AA*NOT SUITABLE FOR DATA#

Yes the call connects ok

Thanks

Re: q931 message

Can you paste the full debug message from the router?

Also does this happen for every call going out through the gateway?

Re: q931 message

This is because your bearer capabilty is set for speech. In order to use data you would need to allow bearer capability of 3.1k audio or unrestricted digital data. If you are only making voice calls then ignore it.

Re: q931 message

Hi,

This message is very confusing to users. There must be a method of preventing it displaying on the phone. I presume its an IE that needs blocking ?

regards

Paul
