Do I need configure any thing on CCM server it self for QoS.

The only thing I have done is configured the following on the switch port where the callmanager is connected.

interface fast 1/1

mls qos trust dscp.

Re: QoS on CallManager server

What version CCM do you have ? CM 3.3 or 4.1 ?

What kind of switch is this ? 6500,4500, 3750 ??

CCM server marks qos on all media packets EF, video with AF41 and control packets with CS3.

Since CS3 is dscp 24 instead of AF31 (which is dscp 26), YOu need to change your COS to DSCP mapping in the switch.

mls qos

#######globally enable qos

mls qos map cos-dscp 0 8 16 24 34 46 48 56

#######maps dscp 24 to cos 3, 34 to cos 4, 46 to cos5

int fa0/1

mls qos trust dscp

For packets going out on this port you should enable priority queueing.

int fa0/1

priority-queue out

wrr-queue cos-map 4 5

(This command may change based on type of queue and threshold setting on the port)

Check out this guide:

You may check QoS guide here:

Regarding your question you can configure several parameters for Call-Signaling Traffic marking.
