Question about lost configuration in ring tons

I use Call manager 4.1 and Cisco IP phones 7912,7940 and 7960.

Sometimes users reports to me that their ring tone that are select in your phone change.

Can anybody say to me why?.

When exiting back to the "Settings" page, be sure to press the "Save" button. Without doing this step, the phone forgets the ring tone upon reboot.

I am what I did. I select the tone and after I press accept (not save in 7912 models).

But users sometimes say me that they lost the ring tne that I'd have configured before.

Do you know what can be the problem?.

If you press Save at the Settings page and then see "All Changes Saved" then you should be good. If you want to be completely thorough, you may want to Erase the configuration, reboot the phone, re-select the ringer, re-save the ringer. If this does not work, then you may have a firmware issue.
