"port" command under dial-peer

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem with Cisco 2600 and 3600 (2610xm, 3660).

The "port" command under dial-peer is not showing up, this command will let me specify in which ISDN interface this dial-peer will send and receive calls.

I have tried different IOS images but no luck. Is this command related to something that I should enable before I get this to show up or there is a specific IOS. I did not have this kind of problem in other platforms.

Also, I haven’t faund any Cisco documentation that refers to this command as unsupported for these platforms.

Thanks in advance,

Artir

Re: "port" command under dial-peer

Is your ISDN interface installed? The port keyword won't show up unless their is a valid voice port for the dial-peer to access.

Re: "port" command under dial-peer

make sure you are making the dial-peer a POTS peer

ex.

dial-peer voice 101 pots

destination-pattern 91..........$

direct-inward-dial

port 1/0:23

forward-digits all
