"test dsp" command

Are there any documents on command/result explanations of the hidden "test dsp" command for an as5300? What types of tests can I run on the DSP's?

Re: "test dsp" command

As you said, it is a hidden command and therefore no documents and it is not officially supported - however it is an excellent troubleshooting tool and here are some hints to get you started. You must have "term mon" on.

dsprm 8>

These are some of the most useful commands above. If show dangling comes up with a DSP then it is a hung dsp and you need to reset it by clearing dsp (hidden again)

MS-5300-4B#clear dsp 1 2 3 2

Do you really want to reset the DSP Channel (1.2.3.2) [y/n]: y

MS-5300-4B#

Hope this helps.
