In a single site with centralized call processing scenario we are experiencing random one way voice issues, while having a closer look at the gateway, we can see that the "show voice dsp" command shows a bank of DSP with the TX Packet Count = 0, while the rest are OK. Could this be the reason for this random 1 way audio?
We have had six T1 card problems in the last month. The DSP's have failed on every one of the cards. Warranty the card this will fix your random oneway voice issue. Another thing that you could try is to power down the card and repower the card then test the DSP simms. They have a DsP lockup problem. If this doesn't fix the problem warranty the card.
