rebuilding subscriber with active directory

Hi all, I need to re-build a subscriber. However, we are using AD. Question - what would be the best practices for this. We are hitting an error message when the program starts to install the directory - any ideas? Will I have to remove the publisher from AD 1st?

Thanks

I would think... correct me if I am wrong..

Build the server like you would another AD server.

OS

Service packs

DCpromo it to the domain.

Now... install CallManager on it to match the same version as your Pub. (ie.. 4.x.x with all Cisoc patches and MS patches)

It should just push the information right back down to the Sub once it is back online. Because the publisher pushes a copy to the Subscriber.. it should come back online....

Re: rebuilding subscriber with active directory

Do not DCpromo!!!

You don't want your subscriber to be an AD controller.

Just add it to the domain as a member server.
