Our Receptionist having 7960 with 7914 module unable to see incoming Numbers on expansion module buttons, all calls with numbers appearing on phone screen only one behind another. All numbers must be appearing on the side of expansion module so it can be prioritize, like if Secreatary is calling & operaor is online then another person called from outside the company then CEO called so result is CEO Tel No is hidden till call from outside the company is not attended. please advice

Is not possible to make calling number to appear on the expansion module, these will always be displayed on the phone display.

Hope this helps, please rat post if it does!

Actually - operator cannot prioritize a call. one call is attended another one is ringing then if 3rd call is coming then operator cannot see the no in caller id because its hidden behind the no of second call. all calls numbers must display line by line not one behind another than one cannot prioritize calls - eg. if CEO is calling.

I'm not sure that there is a solution to this, as it is the way the IP phone works.

Hi Azfar,

Have you tried playing with the Setting "Auto Line Select"? If this Setting is set to true (Enabled) the Call Focus on the display will always shift to the new incoming call.

Device>Phone>Phone Configuration>Product Specific Configuration>Auto Line Select>Enabled

Hope this helps!

After setting max calls 2 and busy trigger 1 for all of the operator numbers - it worked like I wanted. each extension is now having calling number id beside them. Now operator have the option to select as per requirement or now able to prioritize calls.
