Reconstructing Cisco voip into a wav

Hi,

I have heard there is some software which can create a wav file of a voice conversation from an ethereal trace??

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

This is for troubleshooting purposes only.

Thanks

Luke

You can do this directly from ethereal. Select your RTP stream then go to Statistics > RTP > Stream Analysis. I don't remember the exact option but from here you can save to a wave file.

Luke,

Have a look at this web site (runs on a workstation). I have been able to record my own phone conversations from my PC which is plugged directly into my phone. You MAY be able to record all conversations if a computer is placed on the same VLAN as your call managers but I wouldn't do it under production!

Note: Use this software at your own risk!
