Recording Fails, Unable to write wav file

Using IPCC Express 3.1, CM 3.3(3), and AD.

Supervisors can moniotor calls, but they are unable to record. The Record button is there, but does not work.

On the IPCC Express Server, in the Event Viewer, Application, I get error messages:

Source: Cisco Desktop Record

Event ID 4

User: N/A

Computer: IPIVR1

Description:

FCVRS226 Unable to create file \\x.x.x.x\DESKTOP_CFG\AudioFiles\20031024114323172024.wav for recording

One of these are created every time a supervisor attempt to record. The real IP for the server is in place of the x's.

Re: Recording Fails, Unable to write wav file

This Error message is created when the server does not have permission to write to the location where the recorded files are to be placed.

Action: Make sure the server’s service (Cisco Desktop

RASCAL Server) is logging in as a user and that

the user has modify permissions to the indicated

directory.

Hope that helps

Re: Recording Fails, Unable to write wav file

The Cisco Desktop RASCAL Server service has local Administrator rights. The server is a member of an AD. Should I use the domain admin account?
