Recording output from IP Communicator

Has anyone found a good solution to recording output from the Communicator. The only thing I have spent a lot of time with is Audacity, but I can't seem to get it to work. The phone likes to switch recording mode to the mic whenever a call starts.

Any help would be appreciated.
