What Call Manager versions support Redundant Publishers ?, we currently have 1 x publisher and 1 x subscriber on one site and 1 x subscriber on another site, running version 4.0 sr2.
You only need 1 publisher per cluster. Your subscriber(s) provide fault tolerance for the publisher. Please see the IPT SRND below and specifically the Cisco Callmanager Publisher section. The publisher contains the only read/write copy of the database, so database changes cannot be made during an outage. The Cisco Callmanager Publisher section in the link below lists the functions that will not work if the publisher is down. Normal call processing will continue.
