We have 2, 8 port Unity UM Servers. These are going to be paced in a 1 site, centralized CCM topology. We have deployed roughly 10 single Unity systems, and we have 2 Unity Engineers on staff. Can anyone describe the caveats with this deployment?
We know the MWI wont work on the secondary Unity. We are trying to figure out exactly how the failover works?
Unity 3.1.1 failover is pretty basic. None of the saved messages are available until the Primary box recovers in the event of a failure but the secondary box will take over all the voice messaging functions. Users have to re-enroll on the secondary box in the event of a failure of the primary as well.
