registration problem ccm 4.1(3)

I have a strange problem. None of the devices (phones or gateways) are showing their registration status in the ccmdamin pages even though there are in fact registered. Could this be a problem with the database layer monitor service?

Never mind, I found the answer. The RIS service needed to be restarted.
