Relation I number of calls with memory in a Cisco to router 3640

I have one about the amount of memory that needs to router 3640 to work like gatekeeper of VoIP. The version of IOS to use is 12.2(1) with functionality IP/H323. This equipment has 8 MB of Flash and 48 MB of ram, that are the requirements for that IOS. But we do not know the amount of calls you synchronize of VOIP that will be able to support this equipment with that memory, and if it will need some extension. It consists to us that there is a strong relation between I number of possible calls and the memory of router

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. If you don't get a suitable response to your post, you may wish to review our resources at the online Technical Assistance Center (http://www.cisco.com/tac) or speak with a TAC engineer.
