I have a problem whereby the fxs ports on nm-hda-4fxs take about 5 secs to release once a call is cleared. The router is a 2651 running 12.2(13)T1 and is configured for mgcp. Call Manager version is 3.1.3aSpC. I have tried modifying the pots "timeout-release" parameter but can't seem to reduce the release time.
Is this an H323 gateway or MGCP. If it is an MGCP gateway we should get a DLCX from CCM after the call is gone and router should put the port back in the idle state(debug mgcp packet, debug vpm all). On h323 GW you can check this by turning the debug vpm all.
You might want to check the bug id CSCdy16534. In that erratic behavior of FXS call cleardown was reported but was unreproducable after upgrading to 12.2.8T5. You are running later version than that, if it takes 3 seconds to clear the call it is acceptable.
