Remote Message Retrieval

I am having difficulty finding information on setting up a out of office dial in number. For example the main number is 555-1212 and my ext is 1234, I can leave a message for myself, but what do I need to do to setup a message retrieval number if I am away from the office?<br><br>

Well you can do a couple things here.

First, you have this functionality now and might not even know it. When you dial in and get to your recorded message you can hit '*' and you will get prompted to enter you mailbox number. This method is the easiest and required no configuration changes.

If you want a dedicated line and you have DIDs you can give one of the Unity ports a DID. This is done in CallManager under Device -> uOne. Then you will want to take it out of your hunt group. Next you need to setup a Call Routing rule in the SA that sends all direct calls to the assigned DID to 'Sign-in'.
