Remote site IP phones lose caller ID

Every once in a while the phones at a remote site lose their caller ID. This is a site across a gig ethernet fiber link. It happens to 7960s, 40s and 10s. Rebooting the phone will allow the caller ID to come through. Or, if you wait a few days, it will suddenly start working again. It is CM 3.3.2 spC, 1 pub, 2 subs. The gateway at the site is a 7206 running 12.2.2T code. "From private" is displayed on the phone when a call comes in. Sometimes, after a few seconds of "from private," the number will finally display. Anyone have any ideas? Could this be bug CSCea78886? Why would it only affect 1 remote site?
