When we initially installed Unity (off box) we pointed to a mailserver that we would now like to remove from the site. We have moved all the users mailboxes, public folders etc, but there are still a few unity mailboxes left. Is there anything that we will need to do to ensure that Unity still communicates with our exchange site, other than moving the remaining unity mailboxes off that server, and removing the server from the Exchange site
Yeah, there's a few additional steps involved since Unity needs to recreate the message profile used to get to MAPI and we need to have some info added to the registry to tell us the new box we need to connect to and the like... you can check out this thread for more details:
