Renaming Example Administrator

Is it possible to rename or even better, simply HIDE this account. I hate this thing showing up in my GAL - people are always emailing/asking me what that is and what it's used for.

The accounts I'm interested in deleting/hiding - if possible that appear in the GAL are:

Example Admin and Example Subscriber

,general and ,general mailbox

Unity Messaging System - (name of our Exch Server)

Re: Renaming Example Administrator

If you're running Unity 2.4.6 then you can hide those accounts. Make sure the registry setting referenced in this post:

http://avforums.isomedia.com/cgi-bin/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=unityent&Number=2203&Search=true&Forum=All_Forums&Words=HKLM&Match=Entire Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=3months&Main=2169

is set and you can go ahead and hide any account and Unity wont care. The .general and .general mailbox are not Unity specific objects, however... not sure what effect hiding those will have, be careful.

If you're running builds earlier than 2.4.6 you can't hide objects in the directory since Unity wont pick them up when we search LDAP. MS made a fix for this in SP4 which 2.4.6 took advantage of.
