Repeating Event Log Errors

Hi,

I am getting the same two repeating error messages in the Event Log of my Call Manager Server.

1. Event ID:3 Error: GetNewFileName-fopen in wb mode failed to update new file. szFileNumberName = c:\ccm~num.bin.

2. Event ID:3 Error: szNumber = 3e5

What are these errors I cannot find anything on the website ?.

R

Scott.

Re: Repeating Event Log Errors

The sqlsvc account password is cached in windows and even after changing it the old password is used. The only way to remove the cached password is to reboot the server.

The problems may come with the Windows "Automatic Updates" service.

So try the following:

disable the "Automatic Updates" service from the pub and sub.

goto control panel==>automatic updates====> uncheck the box "Keep my computer up

to date....."
