Re: request circuit/channel not avaiable ISDN

S,

You need to build up a voice class with specific codecs in it and assign it to the incoming dial-peer. AS-5300s are a bit funny like that.

I would also look to set the incoming number type to unknown as I've had problems with this in the past.

voice class codec 1

codec preference 2 g711ulaw

codec preference 3 g729r8

!

dial-peer voice 36 voip

destination-pattern 113673.

progress_ind setup enable 3

voice-class codec 1

session target ipv4:200.186.217.54

Re: request circuit/channel not avaiable ISDN

Paul,

First of all Thank you for your prompt answer.

I made the changes and did not work. However I could check that when, in the s0:15 interface I do not add the command

isdn incoming voice modem

I get other error:

01:23:41: ISDN Se0:15: TX -> RELEASE_COMP pd = 8 callref = 0x801F

01:23:41: Cause i = 0x82D8 - Incompatible destination

and when I use

isdn incoming-voice data

I got :

01:20:19: ISDN Se0:15: RX <- DISCONNECT pd = 8 callref = 0x001E

01:20:19: Cause i = 0x849F - Normal, unspecified

but no voice could pass through.

Any ideas, folks ?

Thanks

Re: request circuit/channel not avaiable ISDN

Try setting the

isdn incoming-voice voice

are you sure you have a voip platform, the dial access AS-5300 bundle does not support voice.

Re: request circuit/channel not avaiable ISDN

There is no voice option on this command isdn incoming voice.

I use the IOS version:

IOS (tm) 5300 Software (C5300-IS-M), Version 12.2(xa3plus.0.10.0), CISCO DEVELOP

MENT TEST VERSION

I 've already run this box as R2 instead of ISDN, And runs ok!! But in R2 I do not have the disconnect reason codes (carrier required) as I can get in ISDN, that's why I am trying ISDN.

Re: request circuit/channel not avaiable ISDN

Do you get secondary dial tone when "incoming-voice modem"

is set? If so, you might try adding a pots dial-peer like this:

dial-peer voice 99 pots

port 0:D

direct-inward-dial
