Likely cabling problem. However, you should use clock source internal when connecting PBX.

hi,

This was working for 2 months now.

Hi Paolo,

Can we say here that the e1 card is okay?

thanks

Router rarely fails.

Check cabling and configure internal clock.

one thing, the e1 configs are still intact on the configuration. doesnt this dictate that the hardware is okay?

controller E1 0/0/0

pri-group timeslots 1-31

interface Serial0/0/0:15

no ip address

encapsulation hdlc

isdn switch-type primary-net5

isdn incoming-voice voice

no cdp enable

!

No.

You can do loopback tests, but in most cases it's just wasting time, because the problem is something else.

thanks paolo
