RSS Feeds to 7960G Phones

Is it possible to use existing feeds such as Slashdot and others to serve up content to 7940 phones?

We have tried several and all of them return parsing errors. Clients which are not Cisco phones (various handhelds etc. do not have the problem using the exact same feed).

If you mean that you created an IP Phone service with the URL of the RSS feed, then the phone will not understand it. The phone understands a specific set of XML elements, and you would need to create an application that would consume the RSS feed and return it to the phone using the phone's XML elements.
