RSVP on the 6509

Hi,

We are trying to configure RSVP on our Cisco Catalyst 6509 switch. We

are using IPTV to test the configuration. We enabled RSVP on each of the

VLANs by using the 'ip rsvp bandwidth 10000 1024" command for that VLAN. The

RSVP service is being denied to streams that require more than 1024kbps as

in the above configuration.

However, we found that upon congesting the network we get a best effort

transmission even after the flow is allowed to use RSVP reservation.

Is there anything more we need to do on the switch side in order to get

RSVP to have priority over ordinary traffic? Anything on the switch module?
