secondary-dialtone

Hi All;

I am using CME. I configured "secondary-dialtone 9" to get line for outbound calls. Is there any way that can change secondary-dialtone sound? because it doesn't have normal dial tone, it sounds as a secondary dial tone very unusual.

Hi;

It may be about cadences and tones. So, try the network-locale command with the country code that suits your preferences.

Note: remember to reset phones each time changing the country code...

Possible country codes are

?AT?Austria

?CA?Canada

?CH?Switzerland

?DE?Germany

?DK?Denmark

?ES?Spain

?FR?France

?GB?United Kingdom

?IT?Italy

?JP?Japan

?NL?Netherlands

?NO?Norway

?PT?Portugal

?RU?Russian Federation

?SE?Sweden

?US?United States (default)

Hi baytan;

I checked "show tel" and network-local is US. but still secondary dial-tone has a odd sound and it is kind of scary. is there other method in order to change secondary dial-tone?
