Self-made voicemail system

Hi,

Our native language is currently not supported by unity. We are thinking about developing a simple voicemail system to provide VM to our customers.

There are some questions that would be nice to get answered by someone.

Which protocol is the one to use for this? Cisco TSP for example has a limitation of 10 ports per server, while Cisco Unity TSP does not have this limitation. I quess the later one cannot be used for 3rd party development.

What about JTAPI integration?

If someone tried to do the same before, please post me some guidelines, which way to start.

Re: Self-made voicemail system

One thing i tried is use the Cisco CRA as the VoiceMail, u can in fact make a IVR port, and then do a Record in the IVR Script. afterwards, the file will be placed in some directory as a .wav files, u can playback or delete afterwards. Just make some IVR script to manupilate the wav file can do.
