We use Unity 2.4 with CallManager 3.0.3. I use the default 300 second for message. I can call an extension and leave a pretty long voice message. But when users dial into their own voice mailbox and try to send a voice message, Unity only allows about 10 seconds of recording time and then cut the recording time off by prompting the voice mail options.<br>Please help.<br><br>
Outside callers are affected by the maximum message length you set, but subscribers have their own limits (which are presumably longer in most cases but perhaps someone accidentally set it down to 10 seconds on your install).
On the Class of Service for the users in question, go to the Messages page. There's another "maximum" field here which is specific for how long subscribers' messages can be. In most cases this is longer than outside callers, naturally, but we've actually used it to keep some rather long-winded internal folks from leaving overly long messages as well ;->.
