When trying to send a message to multiple subscribers using DN, if you press # after dialing the extension and press # again to confirm the DN (without waiting for unity to say the subscribe name) unity interperts that as you want to change from DN to Names. Is there a workaround for this or a way to change the ## for switching between dialing by DN or name?
You must be hitting the two #s withing 250 milliseconds of one another - which is generally pretty fast. Unity then considers the two #s to be a single key event and treats it as a notice to switch addressing modes in this case.
You can either pause for a half second in between pounds or you can reduce the key press time Unity considers a single key event here. This can be adjusted in the Advanced Settings Tool on the "Set 'double key press' time" option. As noted the default here is 250 milliseconds and you can set it up or down.
That said, I wouldn't reccomend setting it lower - most folks end up setting it higher to help accomdoate folks on cell phones or the like that can't press the keys fast enough. If it were me I'd simply pause a half second inbetween pound presses there when pounding through a add sequence.
