Sending DTMF to a FAXSERVER after call is answered

I am using a ICS7750 Callmanager and a MRP-8FXS with H323 communication (but can change to MGCP). I am looking for a way to take the DID information comming in on a PRI and sending it out a FXS port to a Fax Server, I need to be able to send the DID number dialed as DTMF to the fax server after the call has been answered by the fax server. Anyone have a clue how to send DTMF tones after a call has been established? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Sending DTMF to a FAXSERVER after call is answered

If you use H323, you can set up a POTS dial peer like this:

Assuming you want to send the number range 1XXX towards the fax server -

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination 1...

port 1/0/0

prefix ,,,,,,,,1

This should send the ring signal out the port, so the fax server will see it and answer and then the prefix ',,,,,,,,1' will cause the router to send a 2 second pause before the leading 1 and the last 3 digits. The ',' represents a 1/4 second pause so we are delaying the sending of the digits.
