seperate directories

We are interested in configuring different directories and directory handlers for each business unit. In other words, when someone hits the sales directory handler and searches for bob jones by pressing jones only a jones in sales will show be a routing option not a jones in HR or advertising.

What is the best way to accomplish this?

WithUnity 4.0(1) and later you can do this by creating seperate directory handlers - each handler can have it's name lookup search scope limited by class of serivce, location, dialing domain or public distribution list membership - you can read more about this in the administration guide for 4.0(3) here:
