service-policy, class and policy map and ACL impact on IPT?
Other location has a leased line of 2mb. to main office where PBX is. Remote location has 4 vlans. Each entity has 2 vlans namely for voice and data. the LL is divided by 2 (each entity half of capacity) and each part again divided via service-policy, class and policy maps a diffrent priority so voice gets priority and a fixed bandwidht. When we tested in beginnen there were no problems with voice but once up and running :-( (once data also got active) Now we tried alread a lot (bypassing fw and so on) but jitter remans for IPT. Only thing I stil can think about as cause is: all those maps and policy takes each packet to go through a long proces before being send so causes jitter. Anybody and advice or experience?
