Simple 2 Questions

Using CCM4 and H323 Gateway:

1- How to find in the Gateway how many digits the Carrier is sending to the Gateway?

2- How to find how many digits the Gateway is sending to the Callmanager?

Re: Simple 2 Questions

1. If it's PRI then turn on "debug isdn q931" on the router, or use "debug voice ccapi inout"

2. In CCM locate the GW and there is a filed called "Significant Digits" under Inbound call parameters.

Re: Simple 2 Questions

for an IOS gateway, to see exactly what the PSTN is sending you as far as digits, either perform a 'debug isdn q931' on the gateway or view CCM traces.

(the first is quicker and easier)

to see exactly how many digits the gateway is sending to CCM, you will look at the following:

(for a PRI)

ccmAdmin>device>gateway>"gwYouWishToView">callRoutingInformation>inboundDigits>significantDigits

for an FXO you can view the gateway configuration for the dialPeers used for inbound calls; use the 'show dial peer...' commands to view their configuration.
