(Simple) Personal Assistant Directory Question

Hi Everyone,

Question: Is it possible to configure Personal Assistant to use Active Directory as it's directory, even though CallManager itself uses DCD?

5 points for a simple yes/no answer! ;o)

Thanks,

Stuart

Re: (Simple) Personal Assistant Directory Question

Stuart,

The answer depends on whether you want PA to use AD as the corparate directory or as the configuration directory. PA automatically uses the same directory that Callmanager uses for configuration information. If Callmanager uses DCD, PA will use DCD. If Callmanager uses AD, PA will use AD. The corporate directory function can be separated so that PA uses AD even thought CCM uses DCD. Please see the following link for confirmation.
