Single number solution for voice/fax

Has anyone used a single number solution for voice/fax for Unity using:

-T.37 on ramp IOS fax gateway

-Fax Detection Feature for IOS gateway

-Unity IP FaxRouter

I'd like to know if this is possible and what, if any pitfalls, I should be aware of?

I've been running T.37 fax, it works pretty well (both on-ramp and off-ramp).

The biggest problem I have is radius accounting- I can create stop records but not start records meaning I can't use my normal VoIP billing system to bill for fax.

Never used fax detection or unity faxrouter.

I aslo the requirement of using Fax Detection feature using Cisco 3745 as Voice Gateway

Really appreciate if anyone had tested this feature and share the experience here.

I need your sound advice whether this is a viable solution or stick to separate voice and fax number.
