Single site Cluster Design recommendation

Currently we have three Callmanagers (one PUB and two SUBs, all MCS7835)in our one of the location running as individual cluster no Intercluster.

We have about 900 phones configured and 120 extenssion moblity users, and auto attendent for operators.

As we know one SUB can support upto 2500 devices, so what I need to find out if it is OK to remove one of our SUB from the cluster and leaving one PUB and one SUB and all the devices will be registered to SUB and PUB will be a backup.

The answer is - it depends.

You need to ask yourself a whole lot of questions, not least of which is what do you gain by moving away from the "glass-house" Publisher design and reducing your redundancy/availability options.
