I am trying to set up a Cisco SIP Proxy Server on Red Hat 7.1. I have run csps_setup and istalled the GUI version. Now I do not succeed in starting the sipd daemon.
pserver, licenseMgr and spa come up but not one of the sipd can be seen with ps -ef. I looked up the sipd.conf file without noticing anything special and I tried to start sipd manually which produced an error message indicating that sipd could not open libsipnumsvclient.so.
Where would you look first to get this thing running ?
check out the spid.conf for the correct port number used (5060) the ip address of the SIP server and the server name , which can cause problems like this .checking for the installation of java and the database like MySQL also will be very useful
