Does the Cisco IP Phones ( 7985, 7970, 7960, 7940, and 7905 ) support SIP ??

I am not sure about the 7985, but all others can be converted to SIP and be used with SIP softswitch.
Note that curent version of CCM does not support SIP phones, CCME 3.4 supports them.

Do u mean CM 4.1 doesn't support SIP ?
Regarding the IP Phones
Do I need to install plug-in for the Cisco IP Phones ( 7960, 7940, and 7905 ) to support SIP ?

Yes, CallManager 4.1 does not support SIP endpoints, only SIP Trunks. CallManager 5.0 due to come out sometime in 2006 should have that capability.
