SIP to SIP Calls - CME 3.4

Dear All ,

I am having a Cisco CME 3.4 installed on Cisco Router 2610XM. I conencted to it 2 Cisco 7905 IP Phones running SIP Firmware. The Phones were able to register succesfully with the CME 3.4 but when i tried to perform a call from the 1st Phone ( Extension 7000 ) to the 2nd Extension ( 7003 ) i was unbale to establish this Extsnion to Extension call.

I enabled the < Debug ccsip call > and i collected the Debug Information when the call fails but i couldnt extract from it something that might help.

I attached the < Show Run > for the Router and the < Debug ccsip call > .

I hope that you could assist me regrading this Problem.

Regards

For All who may pass by the same Problem

After enabling the < Debug ccsip errors > command it revelaed that the Problem was that i did not specify the Type of Codec that supposed to be used when the 2 7905 SIP IP Phones try to communicate with each other.

I specefied Codec = G711ALAW under the Voice Registration Pool of each Phone.

Command are as follows :

Router#(conf-Voice-Register-Pool)Codec G711alw

The same Codec must be specefied under each Voice Registration Pool of each Phone.
