SIP to SIP IP to IP Gateway with CCM 4.1(3)

Hi all,

I'm trying to set up an IP to IP gateway that will enable me to place SIP to SIP calls from CCM 4.1(3) to a SIP long distance carrier. Has anyone done this? Willing to share configuration examples? I haven't really found a good SIP to SIP example on CCO. Really only been able to find H323 to H323. We do not use a SIP proxy. Is that a requirement for this to work? Thanks in advance.

Have a setup in the lab.

As soon as I arrived to the TAC and re-test it will send you the configs.

Thank you, I'd greatly appreciate that when you get a chance.

Come to find out, the LD carry only support g729r8. CM only supports g711 for SIP trunks (CM 4.1(3)). Can the ip to ip gateway be set up for transcoding as well?

I have not found a solution, but i'd be interested in what you find though.
