SIP Trunk

Has anyone out there successfully implemented a SIP trunk through CCM4.1.3.

I have a trunk configured with an IP address. I then have a transcoder configured in CCM to be a hardware MTP.

In the router I have a dspfarm profile for the transcoder. It is registered successfully with CCM. I also have it as part of an SCCP CCM group.

I then have the transcoder as the first resources in an MRGL that is associated to the SIP trunk.

All that being said, it is not working. Am I missing a piece.

I know that was generic. I can be more specific if anyone has some insight.

Re: SIP Trunk

I think that issue is due a codec configuration...

See what codec you are using between CCM and router. It must be same. I set up a trunk between CCM and Asterisk and calls are only attempted, but not completing, a long time ago, i see that the codec used was g729, differ than the g711 used for SIP trunking on release 4... and Asterisk

Hope it helps,

Vitor
