Slow redial

Hi,

When I press the Redial button on my IP Phone 7960 to redial an outside number, it takes a second or two for the IP Phone to display the number and start redialing. Some of my users told me sometimes it takes about six seconds or more...but they tend to exaggerate...

When I do the same thing to redial an internal number, i.e. another IP Phone, the redial is always *immediate*.

Is there an easy way to fix this problem? Or are my users asking too much?

We are having the same problem. I believe it is an issue with the firmware load running on the phone. We are using CM3.1.2c and IP 7960 phones w/ firmware version 3.1.1.2 , boot load PC030300 and app load P00303010102.

Have you tried updating the phone loads and firmware? Maybe that will help out....

droessler, thanks for your input. It took me a while...but today I upgraded the firmware. That didn't fix my problem, though...

Any more ideas?

I'm using:

CallManager 3.1(2c)

IP Phone firmware version 3.1(5)

IP Phone bootload PC03A300

IP Phone app load P00303010401 (upgraded today from P00303010102)
