I had the Exchange Server for our Unity set up to pass SMTP traffic on to our IMS server. We recently changed our IMS to prevent Mail relays by requiring authentication. Now my text pages do not work. I am not ready to integrate the Unity into our Exchange system yet. I'm not entirely sure what it is you're trying to do here... but Unity itself isn't doing any direct SMTP connections to do pager dialouts. We send an email to the appropriate address (in the case of a text pager, the one you provide on the notification device) and we hand it off to Exchange to deliver for us. It sends the message to the SMTP gateway itself...
