I have been having problems with CTIManager stopping every so often and cannot upgrade at the moment to fix what is most likley a bug. CM version is 3.1x. Is there a way to monitor this service and have email sent to me if it goes down. Another idea would be to use our monitoring software and monitor CTI port on CM server. Not sure if this would work or what port CTI uses. Any suggestions. I cannot use third party software other than current "whatsup' monitoring software we use in other parts of network.

There is a good possibility when the service goes down, it will generate Dr.Watson Log & User.DMP; Open a TAC case with the above information along with detailed CTI & SDL CTI traces to find the root cause.
