I've been testing the softphone over our VPN and it is working great except for the first minute of a call (only the first call placed after connecting to the VPN) the quality is not very good. It seems after the first minute the quality improves. The problem is alot of our users make short phone calls and are discourage from using the softphone. We are using Softphone version 1.3 and a Cisco VPN concentrator. Will the "Alyways use low bandwidth codec" help this issue?
