SRST & translation rules

Hi,

I have system with a CCM 3.1 three Vg200 and one Cisco 2600 - all on the same site. Idea is that for a backup (instead of another CCM server) use SRS telephony. This working fine but I have several demands. First, I want to dedicate some lines to power users. To accomplish this goal I need to make some translation rules but those roules should be chained with the directory numbers. I try with a answer address DN but something is wrong. My config on the SRST router(192.168.1.1) for a two users is:

translation-rule 1

Rule 0 ^9 0

translation-rule 2

Rule 0 ^9 8

dial-peer voice 100 voip

answer-address 24

translate-outgoing called 1

voice-class codec 1

session target ipv4:192.168.1.21

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

!

dial-peer voice 200 voip

answer-address 29

translate-outgoing called 2

voice-class codec 1

session target ipv4:192.168.1.21

dtmf-relay h245-alphanumeric

Config on the Vg200 (192.168.1.21):

dial-peer voice 1 pots

destination-pattern 0T

port 1/0/0

dial-peer voice 2 pots

destination-pattern 8T

port 1/0/1

This is a test configuration and if this pass I will put another translation rules but those will point on the other vg200s.

If someone have idea please contact me. Thanks in forward.

Mladen

Re: SRST & translation rules

Try "debug voip ccapi inout" command to get clues on how the router is handling the call and where it is failing.

You could also test your translation rules using the "test translation-rule" command.
