I already configured the vm-integration for sending dtmf tones through FXO
lines connected to the local srst router in order to access the Unity Server
at central site that is connected to the PSTN using T1/PRI circuits. The
problem that I'm having is that the srst router is sending all digits (i.e.
Telephone Number + #FDN#2 to the PSTN and the generic message is saying that
the call cannot be completed as dialed.
I was thinking that the router will send the extra dtmf tones after the call
has been established. Am I correct? I'm using SRST 3.3 in an IOS 12.3(14)T5.
Below are the vm-integration commands:
pattern direct * CGN
pattern ext-to-ext no-answer # FDN #2
pattern ext-to-ext busy # FDN #2
pattern trunk-to-ext no-answer # FDN #2
pattern trunk-to-ext busy # FDN #2
Also.. is there a way to restrict with IP Phones to set the call-forward busy and noan parameters under srst or that is a global command? (i.e. for all IP Phones registered to the router). Because not all the IP Phones have voicemail at this time.
I was thinking that the vm-integration commands need to be used if the PSTN connectivity on the SRST router is not a T1/PRI circuit? Am I right? My srst router has analog FXO lines.. and the central site has T1/PRI connectivity where the Unity Server and CallManager cluster are located.
I got this working with the following config (replace vm number). SRST FXO calling to central site PRI with Unity 4.0(5). This config is for four digit extensions (number of dots at end of destination pattern in dial peer.
